The Journey
A 2-week prenatal & postnatal virtual workshop designed to support you - because thriving parents raise thriving children.
Becoming a parent is more than a single moment - it’s a journey.
Through pregnancy, birth, recovery, and early parenting, there are highs, lows, and everything in between.
And while there’s a lot out there about how to care for your baby - there’s not enough about how to care for you.
That’s where The Journey begins.
Over four weeks, we’ll walk with you through the real, layered experience of becoming a parent - holding space for the emotional shifts, identity changes, healing, planning, and everything in between.
When should you begin classes?
Choose a timing that feels good for you and your rhythm.
We recommend joining us somewhere between 22–31 weeks pregnant. This gives you plenty of space to soak in the info, integrate the practices into your day-to-day, and feel more grounded and confident heading into birth - without the last-minute stress.
Think of it as giving yourself a soft runway into the next chapter.
What you will receive:
2 classes (2 hours each, live on Zoom)
4 hours of real-time, heart-centered guidance
2 thoughtfully curated guidebook ( over 70 pages each) to walk alongside you each week - packed with session notes, journal prompts, and tools to deepen your learning
A lovingly designed digital workbook to support you through the 4th trimester - with gentle prompts, reflections, and real talk for postpartum life
Ongoing support + curated resources to carry you through pregnancy and postpartum
A cozy, non-judgmental space to ask questions, feel seen, and build your village
Full workshop investment: $189.00
Insurance receipts available (Ontario Residents Only).

Pregnancy isn’t just about growing a baby, it’s about growing into a whole new version of yourself.
In this first session, we make space for all the changes already happening in your body, your emotions, your relationships, and your identity. You’ll get grounded in what’s happening internally and feel more confident navigating what’s ahead, from appointments to advocacy, leave planning, and preparing for birth.
This week is about slowing down, tuning in, and starting to build the community, knowledge, and tools that will carry you through birth and beyond.
You’ll walk away with:
A real understanding of what’s happening to your pregnant body, and why you’re not “just hormonal”
Tools for navigating emotional shifts, identity changes, and the mental load of becoming
A breakdown of OBGYNs, midwives, doulas, and how to choose what fits you
A clear look at hospitals, birth centres, and home birth options
Planning support for EI, top-up, workplace convos, and budgeting
What to expect at prenatal appointments, and how to speak up if something feels off
The foundation of a support system (partners, doulas, chosen fam)
Tips for setting boundaries, asking for help, and building your village before baby comes
Early prep for birth: comfort tools, mindset support, and how to start building a birth plan that works for you

This session is about what comes after the birth, the messy, beautiful, identity-shifting season of early parenthood.
We’ll get real about feeding, healing, baby care, and mental health, and hold space for the emotional weight that comes with it all. Whether you’re chestfeeding, bottle feeding, recovering from a C-section, or figuring out who you are now that baby’s here… this is your space to feel informed, supported, and way less alone.
You’ll walk away with:
An inclusive breakdown of feeding options — chest/breastfeeding, bottle, formula, pumping, and combo feeding
What feeding cues look like (and what to do when it’s not going to plan)
Tips for postpartum healing, including vaginal recovery, C-section care, and what’s normal vs. when to call your provider
Ways to nourish yourself in the early days: meals, hydration, rest, and softness
Newborn care basics, diapering, soothing, sleep (ish), and creating routines that actually feel doable
A breakdown of baby blues vs. postpartum mood disorders (PMADs), how to recognize them and where to get help
A safe, judgment-free space to talk about rage, grief, mom guilt, and emotional overload
Real talk on relationship shifts, resentment, and how to ask for help
Strategies for boundary-setting and staying connected to your village after birth
This isn’t about being the perfect parent.
It’s about feeling supported as you become one, in your own messy, powerful, beautiful way.

Right now, Simple Smyles is proudly supporting families across Ontario only—it’s where we live, love, and grow alongside our community. 💛
We hope to expand our offerings beyond the province in the future, so if you’re outside Ontario, hang tight… we just might be coming your way someday soon! -
Simple Smyles was founded by two best friends—moms, dreamers, and longtime supporters of each other’s wildest ideas. We started this business not just to support other families, but to support our own, too. As moms to young children, we deeply understand the importance of presence, connection, and the sacredness of slowing down.
This work is so personal to us—because we’ve been there. And we wanted to create something that allowed us to show up for our communities and still be home for bedtime snuggles, school events, and all the beautifully ordinary moments that matter most.
To honour this value, we fully close our business during July & August every year. This intentional pause gives our team (and our clients) the space to rest, reset, and reconnect with what truly matters. We believe in practicing what we preach—so we step back, breathe deep, and come back refreshed, ready to support you with full hearts.
We’re so glad you’re here. 💛
