The Journey
A 4-week prenatal & postnatal virtual workshop designed to support you — because thriving parents raise thriving children.
Becoming a parent is more than a single moment — it’s a journey.
Through pregnancy, birth, recovery, and early parenting, there are highs, lows, and everything in between.
And while there’s a lot out there about how to care for your baby — there’s not enough about how to care for you.
That’s where The Journey begins.
Over four weeks, we’ll walk with you through the real, layered experience of becoming a parent — holding space for the emotional shifts, identity changes, healing, planning, and everything in between.
You’ll get:
Honest, evidence-informed education
Emotional support and mental health tools
Community connection
Real-world guidance (yes, we talk about EI, paperwork, and navigating systems too)
We focus on helping you thrive — because when you’re grounded, informed, and supported, your child benefits too.
This isn’t a class.
It’s a community.
A village.
A place where you can show up just as you are — and know that you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Our offerings—including individual and couples psychotherapy, as well as prenatal and postnatal workshops—may be eligible for reimbursement through your insurance plan.
When you purchase a workshop, you’ll receive a receipt and invoice following your booking to make any claims easy-peasy.
We always recommend checking with your provider directly to confirm your coverage details—every plan is a little different, and we want you to feel fully informed from the start.
-
To get the most out of your experience, we recommend joining our prenatal workshops during your third trimester.
This timing gives you space to really soak up the content, prepare both mentally and physically for birth, and circle back with any questions before baby makes their big debut. It’s all about feeling calm, confident, and supported—right when it matters most. 💛 -
At this time, all in-person Doula offerings are available within the City of Toronto and are booked on a first come, first served basis.
We’re keeping things close to home as we grow—but don’t worry, expansion plans are on the horizon! Keep an eye out as we continue to stretch our reach to support even more families. 💛 -
Right now, Simple Smyles is proudly supporting families across Ontario only—it’s where we live, love, and grow alongside our community. 💛
We hope to expand our offerings beyond the province in the future, so if you’re outside Ontario, hang tight… we just might be coming your way someday soon! -
Simple Smyles was founded by two best friends—moms, dreamers, and longtime supporters of each other’s wildest ideas. We started this business not just to support other families, but to support our own, too. As moms to young children, we deeply understand the importance of presence, connection, and the sacredness of slowing down.
This work is so personal to us—because we’ve been there. And we wanted to create something that allowed us to show up for our communities and still be home for bedtime snuggles, school events, and all the beautifully ordinary moments that matter most.
To honour this value, we fully close our business during August and December every year. This intentional pause gives our team (and our clients) the space to rest, reset, and reconnect with what truly matters. We believe in practicing what we preach—so we step back, breathe deep, and come back refreshed, ready to support you with full hearts.
We’re so glad you’re here. 💛
